The Reserves played Ruthin Development in a morning kick off and the First team entertained Caerwys. The First team travelled to Llanuwchlyn on the 29th. In August the First team will play Prestatyn at home on August 1st at 7.15 followed by an away friendly against Rhyl on August 5th. The Reserves have a home friendly at 11.00 a.m against Rhydymwyn U 19s on August 6th with a final away friendly against Rhyl Youth on August 12th.

On August 19 they have a home tie against Llay Welfare in the Welsh Cup. The First team will kick off the new season with a new kit and tracksuits courtesy of Mr Gwyn Williams, Spring Gardens/ The Swan. Gwyn has generously agreed to sponsor the team for the next three seasons and the Club. The kit will be worn for the first time at the home fixture against Greenfield when there will be an official unveiling of the kit in the presence of our new sponsor. The Club are also grateful of the individual player sponsorships local businesses have given the team. We would also like to thank the businesses who have advertising boards that are displayed on match days. Also thank you to Greenthumb for their generosity in preparing the pitch for the coming season. Finally thanks to T G Williams Builders, Rees Plant, KM Environment and GMC Concrete for laying down a spectator standing area along side one side of the pitch.
The Under 15s are also preparing for the new season with a home friendly at 10.00 a.m on July 29. The Under 10, 11s and 13s will commence their pre season training in the next few weeks. They would also like to thank Greenthumb for their continuing support. The newly established U 8s team train every Wednesday 5.30-6.30 on the pitch at Roe Plas. Coach Roy Hilton has been very impressed with the numbers attending training and new players are always welcome to join in the training.
As one new team is established the highly successful U 16s , coached by Rob Pierce and Steve Minshull since the team was established and later with the aid of Johnny Roberts have come to the end of their campaign in the Rhyl & District Junior League. The team have been a credit to themselves and the Club since they were first established and hopefully a number of them will be competing for places in both the Reserve and First team squads in the coming season. The Club owe a great debt of gratitude to both Rob and Steve and while thanking them for all their hard work in all types of weather over the years hope they will continue to play an active part in the Club.
Matthew Greenough has decided to give up his role as Coach of the U12s as he finds it difficult to devote the time he would like to the role as he is away at University. The Club would like to thank Matthew for his contribution over the years and hope that he will continue to be associated with the Club. Catherine Thomas our long serving Safeguarding Officer will also be giving up her role also at the end of the season and we would like to thank her that all the Coaches always have the correct FAW accreditation to fulfil their roles.
