Diamond Anniversary

Early in the New Year (February 15, 2018) John and Bronwen Jones will celebrate their Diamond Wedding Anniversary (60 years) and their family send them this message.
Big congratulations to Mum and Dad, may you both have many more happy years together.
“Love from Lyn, Kev, Hayley, West, Dave, Sheila, Col, Jackie, all the grandchildren and great grandchildren.”. Bronwen has, for many years, been a member of the City Times delivery team and we would like to add our thanks and congratulations to her and John.

Thank you to all who have supported our son, Ben, in his fight against cancer
A huge thank you to all who have supported Ben, not only for going out of your way with fundraising and donations but for the kind words and actions that have made life a little cheerier and easier to bear during these difficult times.
The support, not only from family, friends & neighbours but from the hockey fraternity and the community in general has been incredibly touching. People who have lost touch (at home & abroad), old school teachers, work colleagues, total strangers. St. Asaph Football Club, Cricket Club and Rotary; the list is endless.
“We love you with all our hearts Ben. We are extremely proud of you and know that you have the fight and determination to beat this. This time next year you will hopefully be sporting your new leg with pride, be back on the hockey pitch and at university, and most importantly taken back control of your life and independence.”
Thank you everyone. You have truly made the world of difference.

New Knitting Group
A knitting group is starting and we would love you to join us. Whether you are a learner or experienced knitter come for a coffee and chat. At the moment we are knitting twiddle muffs for people living with dementia but if you have a project of your own, you are welcome to bring it along.
We are starting in the new year, Monday January 8th from 10.30 to 12.30 in the parish church and every following Monday.
We were very sorry to hear that The City Times is closing but wanted to thank you for all the time and effort you have put in over the years, we have enjoyed reading it as I am sure the whole of St. Asaph has. Would you also pass our thanks on to the rest of the Team, you have all worked so hard.
We do hope that others will take up the reigns in due course but you will be a very hard act to follow.
